We try to get outside as much as we can, especially in the sweet spot between naps, after preschool pick up, and before the bus.  Even though he still isn't walking yet, Henry doesn't let that slow him down.  Mulch at the park--no worries, he'll crawl in it, push it around and maybe even taste it.  He is showing himself to be "all boy".  The beauty of parenting the third time around is that I don't even think twice about letting him crawl around in the dirt.  He asked to get down and was as happy as he could be, so why not let him play.  There was a serious "wipe bath" before nap time though!
